"I've tried almost every podcast app on the playstore and this is my fav. However, I'm at a total loss on how to keep it alive in the background. I've tried everything in the book to fix it to no avail. I'll pause via bt earbuds to help someone at work, 2 min later I hit play and...nothing. Or, it'll start playing Audible or SoundCloud, because those seem impossible to kill short of a reboot, despite being under battery optimization, which I turned off for this app. Help!"

"Pros: Works great on a phone. Cons: The interface is terrible on a tablet. I've used this for years and version 20.6.6R is the one to have. It's the only version I've found that consistently opens the Now Playing screen when an episode starts and then closes the screen and the persistent playbar when it ends. After version 20.3.x it will ignore A, An & The in the podcast titles. If that's important to you, by all means pay for the app, but then download 20.6.6R and turn off updates."
